Accessibility of Olfaction

Olfactory sense is a critical aspect of our daily experiences. However, many people may face challenges with olfactory sensations (anosmia, etc.) as due to various factors such as temporary impairments, situational impairments or more permanent impairments from birth or more recently due to Covid 19. As such, in this work we examine accessibility aspects of olfaction such as how it affects a person's daily life and the design space for technologies.
